Spanish authorities inspired by London Underground
26.10.2007
A transport system inspired by the London Underground could be set for construction in Spain, it has emerged.
It is understood that the regional government in Andalusia is considering introducing a tube-style rail network across the province.
This would result in quicker access to major cities such as Malaga, Granada and Seville, a move that would directly benefit both local people and tourists.
Holiday home owners and investors in rental accommodation in Andalusia would also be likely to reap the rewards.
The move is being planned as part of a scheme to develop a more efficient transport network that can tempt people out of their cars.
