Cheap flights allow access to home for expats

Budget airlines have been cited as one of the main factors behind people choosing to move to Spain.
Saga said the growth of low-cost travel between Spain and the UK meant that people could enjoy the benefits of living abroad, but still be in reach of friends and family.
The company said this was particularly among retirees, as Spain was the most popular country for older people choosing to move overseas.
Chris Simmonds, managing director of Saga Overseas Homes, added that Spain's value for money was also tempting to prospective British expats.
He told Homes Worldwide: "Many people are finding that their money still goes a lot further on the Mediterranean coast and they can have a new and idyllic home in the sun."
Mr Simmonds added that properties in Spain were better value than those in the UK, despite both countries seeing a property boom in the last few years.
This follows a recent study by Halifax which found that since 2002, the average price of property in Spain has increased by 100 per cent.
