Spain’s property market “will recover next year”
15.07.2008
The Spanish property market should recover by the second half of 2009, Housing Minister, Beatriz Corredor, foretold in a recent statement.
The Spanish property market has been going through a very hard time recently with the credit crunch and illegal builds hitting the headlines. However, the minister said: “Forecasts by international and national organisations, as well as the government, point to an economic and property sector recovery beginning in the second half of 2009.”
Although Corredor is optimistic, many experts are predicting the Spanish property market could take up to three years to recover.
