El Rompido praised as an unspoilt area for property investors
12.11.2008
People looking for property in Spain could be attracted by the fishing village of El Rompido, according to a local expert.
The Spanish National Tourist Board recently chose the Costa de la Luz village as the face of its new promotional campaign.
Andrew Benitez, from Titan Properties, has said that large cities such as Madrid and Barcelona have attracted the "lion's share" of attention from Spanish property investors and tourists for many years.
He added that hopefully the "inclusion" of the village's "glorious face" on an international campaign will bring "much-deserved attention" to the area.
"Huelva has gone largely unnoticed," said Mr Benitez.
"This of course makes our coastline unspoilt, underdeveloped, natural and uncontrived but also means that second home hunters are potentially missing out on one of Spain’s hidden treasures."
