Bristol flights could boost Spanish tourism
25.11.2008
Some of Spain's most popular tourist destinations could be set to benefit from the introduction of new flight routes from Bristol International Airport.
Travel company Teleticket is set to introduce three new routes from the airport in 2009, to popular Spanish tourist destinations Tenerife, Las Palmas and Lanzarote.
According to managing director of Teleticket, Neil Chapman, the frequency of the new flights may be increased "if initial sales are successful".
The new routes were introduced following calls by south-west based travel agents for increased flight availability to the Spanish tourist favourites.
