Alicante popular with British expats

The Spanish resort of Alicante is one of the most desirable destinations for British expats, it has been claimed.
Writer Andrew Regan has said that there are more British foreign nationals in Alicante than any other group while many activities and clubs for retirees are run in English.
Even more social opportunities are available if expats also speak Spanish, he wrote in Best Syndication.
