Low cost company LTE suspends flights
17.10.2008
Following Flysur, low-cost airline LTE International Airways has today announced to Spain's civil aviation authorities the suspension of all its flights from midnight tonight. According to the company's web page, its present financial situation would not have allowed it to meet costs over the coming days.
This is the second airline to close its check-ins in two days, following yesterday's announcement by Andalusiàs Flysur that it would cut all flights as from Monday October 20.
LTE, with its fleet of seven Airbus 320s, operated a charter service from the bases of Palma di Majorca to the Canary Isles and to Milan.
