Value for money on Costa del Sol
29.10.2008
Buyers looking for property in Spain have been advised there may be bargains on Costa del Sol by industry expert.
Despite sales across the country being down by 27 per cent so far this year, the Ministry of Housing claims the prices increased by 0.4 per cent in the year to September, reports the Times.
Desmond O'Connor, head of Alanda Homes, has told the newspaper there is now "real value for money" in popular areas such as the Costa del Sol, with up to 20 per cent knocked off housing prices.
The property expert however has warned people looking for property in Spain they need to be mindful if property prices seem too low, saying: "Be careful with anything really cheap – it is cheap for a reason."
