Traditional property markets set to be popular in 2010
05.02.2010
British property investors will be looking for opportunities in traditional overseas destinations in the coming months, according to Property Frontiers.
Predictions from A Place in the Sun this month were for Spain, Florida and France to be at the top of the list for international property investors.
The Caribbean also appeared at number nine on the list, up from number 15 in 2009.
Christopher Chadd, project manager at Property Frontiers, explained that those investing in the Caribbean would be "looking at tourism trends and recognising where the most likely capital growth is likely to take place."
He added that many people will be seeking to invest in traditional destinations in 2010.
"The likes of the UK, Spain, France, Portugal and the US have experienced massive price falls and as a result there is tremendous value to be had," he explained.
